Two Summers, Five projects

Summer 2023 – Mobile Checkout Team

  1. AI/ML for Shipping Address Predictions. I focused on building a model to predict and correct shipping address errors. This project aimed at enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of the delivery process, reducing checkout cancellation rates and ensuring a smoother transaction experience for users.

  2. Metaverse Integration Analysis and Strategy. I researched the intersection of the Metaverse and digital checkout processes. Through comprehensive market analysis and internal capability assessments, I formulated strategic recommendations for gaming and Web3 metaverses.

I Presented both projects to PayPal's Head of Checkout and VP of Product for Mobile Checkout, resulting in project solution additions to Q4 and 2024 Q1 roadmaps.

Summer 2022 – PayPal.com

  1. Website Integration Playbook. I authored PayPal’s first Website Integration Playbook for teams on the steps needed to deprecate and merge websites. I spoke with over 20 different teams and stakeholders to understand the intricacies of website integration. The outcome was PayPal's first-ever comprehensive guide for strategies on effective website integration.

  2. Raising Awareness for Inclusive Design. By leveraging branding strategies during Pride Month and beyond, I created unique patterns and designs that highlighted the importance of inclusivity in our digital world. I also proposed improvements such as optimizing color contrast, screen reader compatibility, and special branding initiatives to company executives.

This is all I can say – much of it is confidential due to NDAs.

The details are a well-guarded secret for now!

A huge thank you to…

my managers and mentors, specifically Amy Kapell, Tracy Meehan, Rajul Parekh, and Anusch Ahmadi for all their guidance and advice. I have grown exponentially both personally and professionally, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them!

Not to worry… there’s more!
